So the midterm was reasonably easy. No earth shaddering screams, anyway. Three more next week, then I can relax a bit.
Tuesday, I went driving. I had asked someone to teach me to drive standard. Once around the parkinglot and he claimed I already knew how; therefore, he let me wander around town. It felt good to be behind a wheel again. Of course, I still need more practice before I would claim to be able to drive standard.
Today, I got back my first midterm of the term. It was a computer card on which I had filled the bubbles with pencil mark. The only marks they made was a percent, so I have no idea which questions I got wrong. That's really annoying.
It seems the University has a scupltor on campus. Today I noticed a small snow memorial for STS-107. Then, a few minutes later, I saw a snow sphynx on the green between engineering and Dana Porter. It was reasonably large too. Very impressive.
This week should be relatively easy. No assignments due, no tests, and next week is reading week. No classes either!
This weekend, I was in Hamilton with my brother. His family's doing okay, and I'm glad I could spend a couple of days with them. This week I have to go find a job for the summer.
So, this coming weekend starts Reading Week. I'm heading out of town for several days. So if North Korea decides to bomb southern Ontario, I won't be here. :)
I'm back. I haven't recovered from the return trip yet though. Yesterday, I got up to catch a 7:45 train, and didn't make it home till 12:15 this morning. I've had quicker trips.
Today, I have to go down to school and get some library research done. Might as well do it now as later.
